Visiting TBC & membership basics

What are TBC Wellness Center hours?

Members get 24-hour key-fob access, every day of the year. Staff are on the floor daily from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm for tours, questions, and help.

Does TBC charge sign-up fees or long-term contracts?

No sign-up fees. We keep membership straightforward with no pressure and no gotchas.

How large is the gym?

More than 9,000 square feet: cardio, pin-select machines, a spin studio, a kids' room, and over 6,000 pounds of free weights.

Where is TBC Wellness Center located?

121 S. Lake Street, East Jordan, MI 49727, serving Charlevoix County and Northern Michigan.

What is included with membership?

A consultation, a certified 4-week training plan in the TBC app with how-to videos, plus full access to the gym and community classes depending on your plan.

How do I book a free tour?

What are your staffed hours?

The gym is open to members 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Staff are available daily from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

What is the address for GPS and directions?

121 S. Lake Street, East Jordan, MI 49727. Use the Get directions button on our contact page for Google Maps navigation.

Can I sign up for membership online?

Yes. Join through the member portal or come in for a tour and we will help you sign up.

What should I bring for my first visit?

Comfortable workout clothes, athletic shoes, and a water bottle. Bring your questions and we will walk you through the space and membership options.

Membership & pricing

What is the difference between Summit Strength and Performance Pro?

Summit Strength is gym access plus core amenities (showers, lockers, towels, weekly trainer Q&A). Performance Pro adds unlimited classes, monthly workout and meal plans, check-ins, and 15% off personal training.

Are there sign-up fees?

No. $0 sign-up fee on the plans listed here through the member portal.

Can I upgrade my membership later?

Yes. Summit Strength members can move up to Performance Pro or VIP Elite anytime for classes and extra coaching.

Do you offer discounts for students, seniors, or first responders?

Yes. Student Flex (13-18), Golden Flex (55+), and Front Line Heroes (military and emergency services). We verify eligibility at signup.

How do I complete signup after choosing a plan?

Click Select plan on any membership card to open the GymMaster signup portal, then follow the steps for your details and payment.

Programs & training

What fitness programs does TBC offer?

TBC offers personal training, boot camp, spin and black-light cycle, athletic training, senior movement, strength and bodybuilding, Hatha slow-flow yoga, post-rehab training, and nutrition coaching.

Is the Certified 4-Week Program included with membership?

Yes. Every member, new or current, receives a free consultation and a progressive four-week program designed by a certified trainer and delivered through the TBC Wellness app.

Can beginners join group classes or personal training?

Absolutely. We meet you where you are, from first day to competition prep. Trainers adjust for your level, goals, and any limitations.

Do you offer post-injury or senior-friendly training?

Yes. TBC specializes in limitation-oriented programming, senior movement classes, and post-rehab training designed around your body and recovery needs.

What equipment and amenities are available?

Members enjoy treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, 6,000+ lbs of free weights, a cable crossover, pin-select machines, a spin studio, kids' room, and 24/7 access.

About TBC

When did TBC Wellness Center open?

TBC opened in March 2019 in East Jordan, Michigan, starting with 1,500 square feet and growing through community support and reinvestment.

Who founded TBC Wellness Center?

TBC was founded by Tiffany Faught, a Charlevoix native with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and more than 18 years of fitness experience.

How did TBC grow to 9,000+ square feet?

Through three expansions, volunteer work nights, and reinvesting every dollar earned back into the facility, including a major move completed in under six hours in July 2023.

Has TBC won any local awards?

Yes. TBC was named Best Gym or Health Studio in Charlevoix and The Chain of Lakes in the 2026 Red Hot Best awards by My North Media.

What is TBC's mission?

Are TBC trainers certified?

Every TBC team member is certified or actively working toward certification, with ongoing education in safe training, programming, and member support.

Can staff help me with form and workout plans?

Yes. Trainers provide consultations, custom 4-week programs, form coaching, and accountability through the TBC Wellness app and on the gym floor.

Who leads TBC Wellness Center?

Owner Tiffany Faught leads the team alongside certified trainers and staff who share a passion for helping members at every fitness level.

Do you offer nutrition guidance?

Yes. Nutrition and meal planning support is available, led by an owner with a degree in Nutrition to help members build sustainable habits.
